Nokanyana Lodge is situated on the eastern most extreme of the Greater Okavango’s watery wilderness, close to both Moremi Game Reserve and the Khwai Concession area. This land of rivers, as once described by Livingstone, is one of the most sought after safari areas in Africa. Due the its location, Nokanyana is ideally situated when driving through Botswana. You don’t need to venture far out from Nokanyana to see incredible wildlife, in fact you don’t have to leave at all.

Seven comfortable luxury tents and three family tents are positioned on the banks of the Khwai River where an abundance of wildlife can be seen. The rooms at Nokanyana hae been built to ensure you will have panoramic views of surrounding bush. All tents have inside and outside showers, so you don’t have to miss a thing! Days can be spent exploring the area, or simply relaxing and waiting for the wildlife to wander passed.

Activities at Nokanyana Lodge

Activities include morning and afternoon game drives. Guided walks are subject to the availability of a qualified walking guide. The Khwai River area is often the only water source year round for water reliant wildlife species like elephant. Sightings of giraffe, kudu and zebra are abundant as are large predators. Unique for Nokanyana Lodge is the possibility to venture out for a full day safari. This allows you to explore the wilderness of Moremi, Savute or Khwai. Lunch packs and drinks can be packed so that you can stay out for as long as you wish.

We loved it! A beautiful place where you can see a lot of game while swimming or enjoying a drink at the terrace. Staff was very friendly, they even Made a dish for our daughter of 5 and she was so happy with the attention. Out guide was really pashioned about his job, and did not stop untill we saw everything!
